From August 25 to 30, a delegation of Singaporean companies, invited by Kuntin Group and led by Mr. Dennis Mark, CEO of Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), successfully completed its maiden trip to China with the theme of smart manufacturing and AI industry (Exploring China Innovation with Industry Leaders). The delegation visited and inspected Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (E-TOWN), Tianjin Huaming Hi-tech Zone, Yangzhou Economic Development Zone (YZ EDZ), Wuxi Hi-tech Zone, Jiaxing Economic Development Zone (JA EDZ), Shanghai and other places, and visited several smart manufacturing enterprises and park projects such as Xiaomi Automobile Smart Factory and engaged in friendly and insightful exchanges with local governments. The Singaporean delegation expressed its willingness to collaborate on multiple projects inspected. This trip just went from Beijing, passing through cities along the Grand Canal. Mr. Dennis Mark stated that this trip was not only an industrial research trip, but also a trip to the history of the Grand Canal, and it was very rewarding.

The delegation of Singaporean manufacturing enterprises specially invited to visit China was organized by the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), which was established in Singapore in 1932 and has more than 5,000 manufacturing enterprise related members. The delegation focused on the high-quality enterprises, R&D platform institutions and their successful experiences in the fields of electric vehicles, intelligent networking, robots, artificial intelligence, and other intelligent manufacturing industries. The National Intelligent Network Innovation Center is a core platform established by the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in Beijing E-TOWN to promote the innovation of unmanned driving technology and the national "car, road, cloud" integrated demonstration application. The delegation learned in detail about the R&D, testing and application scenarios of various advanced unmanned driving technology products, and actively explored the technical cooperation between intelligent networking technology and members of SMF. During the visit to the Xiaomi Auto Super Smart Factory in Beijing E-TOWN, the delegation was greatly impressed by Xiaomi Auto's advanced electric vehicle technology, highly intelligent assembly lines, and super-intensive production capacity. At the Beijing Science and Technology Park of CVTE, staff showed the delegation Maxhub video conferencing solutions, educational information brand Seewo, Qingsong LED all-in-one machine and other product solutions integrating intelligent display and AI applications. The delegation immediately expressed the hope to promote cooperation in Southeast Asia. At Lenovo's Smart Manufacturing Factory in Dongli District, Tianjin, the delegation was amazed by the intelligent and intensive assembly process of Lenovo's laptop unmanned production workshop, stereoscopic unmanned warehouse, and other advanced technologies such as assembly in limited space and unmanned distribution. During the visit to JA Solar and YAPP Auto Parts in Yangzhou Economic Development Zone, the delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the two companies' efforts to increase the power of monocrystalline silicon battery modules in mass production and fully intelligent production of automotive energy storage equipment. During the visit to Heda Technology Co., Ltd. in Jiaxing Economic Development Zone, the delegation showed great interest in its pipeline detection equipment, especially to the accurate detection of urban water pipe leakage and explored the possibility of promoting and introducing such advanced pipeline detection equipment and technology to the Southeast Asian market.

The delegation also conducted special research on Sino-Singapore cooperation projects such as the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City and the Wuxi Singapore Industrial Park and inspected Kuntin Group's industrial park projects in Beijing E-TOWN, Tianjin Huaming Hi-Tech Zone, Yangzhou EDZ, Wuxi Hi-Tech Zone, and Jiaxing EDZ, and expressed high praise for Kuntin Group's high-quality industrial park.

Zhang Fengmin, Party Secretary of the Enterprise Association in Beijing E-TOWN, and local government leaders from other cities during the delegation's visit met with the delegation members and fully expressed their desire to establish a long-term cooperation mechanism with the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) to jointly promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Singaporean enterprises.

During the visit and communication with the delegation, Mr. Qiu Ming, Chairman of Kuntin Group, stated that Kuntin Group is leveraging the international investment promotion platform of the overseas investment promotion representative office, leveraging its professional experience in providing local investment services to multinational companies and international investment promotion services to local governments for many years, building a bridge for exchanges and cooperation between local related industry enterprises and institutions, and overseas enterprises, supporting the two-way work of "bringing in" overseas investment promotion of industrial parks and "going out" (to overseas) of related industry enterprises across regions, and adding international enterprise strength to local urban development.

In 2023, Kuntin Group was formally commissioned by the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (E-TOWN) Management Committee to set up overseas investment promotion representative offices in Germany and Singapore, acting on behalf of the Beijing E-TOWN government for international investment promotion. In order to promote the full implementation of Singapore's overseas investment promotion work, Kuntin Group was authorized to set up Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BETDAS) in Singapore, and was fully responsible for its daily operation of Singapore's overseas investment promotion platform. BETDAS was officially inaugurated in April 2024 in Singapore.
